More info

Jeremy's first love in grapes, the elusive Sangiovese.  He has spent all of his winemaking years seeking variations of this grape and embracing its many vineyard and clone expression.
In the cellar Sangiovese is a relatively easy grape to work with, acids are typically balanced and at least from Lodi we don't have to worry about excessive tannin structure.
Post harvest we we process the fruit gently, removing the stems and quickly moving the grapes to fermenters to drop temperature and initiate fermentation.
tasting notes:
Ripe with strawberry and red cherry notes. Hints of leather and earth are balanced with the sweet spice of American oak.  Finishing in soft tannins and balanced acidity.
