From our second vintage of working with this over 100 year old vineyard in Eastern Lodi. The Naši Očevi Vineyard (pronounced naw-shee oh-cheh-vee) was named as an homage to Zinfandels Baltic origins and roughly translates to "Our Fathers".
Gently processed and fermented in small bins for about 9 days before it is moved to barrel for extended aging (22 months). The resulting wine is spectacular, slightly more delicate than previous vintages. Fully making up for it with heady aromas of floral black fruit and spice on the nose, leading to firm lingering tannin wrapped in bold, soft fruit and oak.
Are a subjective overview of the flavors, textures and acidity of the wines as they might be experienced in the tasting room.
