This release marks the 10th vintage working with this Amador County vineyard and the Spencer family. The Spencer vineyard is 43-acres nestled in the Jackson Valley at the western edge of Amador County. The mix of Tempranillo clones in the vineyard surpasses most other fields that Jeremy has worked with, resulting in a wine that is worth the wait.
Aged 28 months in 35% New American Oak, Heavy & Medium Plus Toast
Blackberry, dark cherry and dried blueberries intertwined with complex aromas of rose petal, cedar, dried herbs and dark chocolate. Plush, full bodied tannins on the palate, finishing with rich plum, vanilla and cinnamon spice.
