2022 Montepulciano

This is our third release of a very bold and dynamic the Italian red wine, Montepulciano. Grown in the sub-ava of Lodi, known as the Clements Hills, this wine will surely please with its layers of complexity.

Aged 24 months in 20% Medium and Medium Plus Toast American oak.

On the nose, this wine is bursting with aromas of fresh raspberry and red plum, balanced by hints of fresh herbs and a subtle spice. On the palate, this Montepulciano is bright and buzzy, with lingering flavors of tart cherry and cranberry. Mid-palate, the spiciness of clove emerges, enhancing the overall profile and adding warmth. This wine is a delightful combination of fresh fruit and spiced undertones, making it an excellent companion for a variety of dishes.
