Sweet and decadent, there's something undeniably special about ports. From the very start of my carrer in wine, ports captivated me. The sweet, fruit forward textures and aromas combined with the subtle booziness brought up memories of sneaking the alcohol syrup filled holiday chocolates in my youth.

These days, instead of boozy chocolates, I think of sneaking time away from work and a quiet winter evenings in front of the fireplace with Choral. There truely isn't a much better pairing than our ports on a chilly evening.

With 5 years of barrel age, the port has blended subtle barrel with the deep Zinfandel fruit tones. This tawny style port greets you with aromas of caramel and oak on the nose. Your palate is enveloped with notes of baked fig, hazelnut, and a beautiful sweetness that leads to lingering finish with hints of butterscotch, chocolate and sweet harvest spices.
