We created Frolic & Folly as a brand to explore different and fun styles of winemaking, all on the lighter side. These are expressive, beautiful, light and fruit forward with lower than typical alcohol and very little barrel age to allow the vineyard to shine through.
An ancient style of wine, brought into the modern era. Produced from the skins of red grapes after pressing for rosé. These low alcohol reds have the tannin of soft red wines and overflow with big, juicy fresh fruit aromas on the nose.
Our early pick Zinfandel Rosé and Grenache are both from the first pressings of the Piquette's. These are crunchy wines, with refreshing acidity and very layered aromatics. Beautiful expressions of beautiful grapes.
